Cybersecurity in the age of AI and Quantum

Talk Abstract

AI and Quantum are arguably the two most promising technologies that are going to profoundly impact the digital future. The rapidity with which these fields are maturing is also leading to a lot of cybersecurity challenges, which we are still unprepared to deal with. In this talk, I will outline some of the key challenges we are focusing on and talk a bit about Cisco Research's efforts around solving them.

Ramana Kompella
Head of Cisco Research

Dr. Kompella is a Cisco Fellow and the Head of Cisco Research where he leads a cross-domain team of researchers conducting research in emerging areas of strategic interest to Cisco such as AI/ML, Quantum, and Cybersecurity. In the, he was a Professor at Purdue, and a co-founder of multiple successful startups.
